Lounge/Function Area
The Bryan Upchurch lounge area is easily divided and can cater for up to 200 people either dancing the night away or playing 'competitive' darts or bowls. The room is ideally sized and with our ancillary facilities the club is the ideal venue for parties and weddings. A first rate Stoke Vegas gaming room with 18 state of the art gaming machines operates during opening hours. All machines are cash/coin operated. A great place to try your luck while enjoying all the other amenities on offer.
A full TAB agency and facilities is available from the Bryan Upchurch Lounge within the Club, and operates every race day. All facilities are provided including teletext, sky and up to date results.
Bar Facilities
Our club offers excellent bar facilities on both levels of our complex; we take pride in being able to offer a large range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at very competitive prices. Our extensive product range includes most brands supplied by New Zealands major suppliers Lion and DB.
Our Bryan Upchurch lounge Bar provides all the amenities expected within a modern club including access to our function hall. A great venue to watch the rugby or cricket on our very large video projector screen. This is the venue to check out the Super Fourteen and is a favourite venue for many Hurricanes supporters. It also includes a dedicated TAB Agency with dedicated racing TVs.
The Sports Bar is serviced by own bar and is the place for the sports nut, for great service and a great time the Sports Bar is the place to be.
